BVB worries about Haaland: Now the superstar is talking about his injury himself

Ever since his injury in the game against Hoffenheim, fans have been puzzling over a comeback from Erling Haaland.

In an interview, the BVB star now gives hope.

Dortmund – The game against Hoffenheim was a real shock for BVB fans.

After just 63 minutes, superstar Erling Haaland limped off the field injured.

Since then, various media have reported about a muscle fiber tear in the Norwegian.

Official confirmation of Borussia Dortmund's diagnosis was initially pending.

On its homepage, the association only writes about "muscular problems, which, however, require treatment and further examinations in the coming days".

It is unclear how serious the injury actually is.

If the rumors of a torn muscle fiber are true, BVB could face several weeks without their top scorer.

In an interview with compatriot Jan Age Fjörtoft (55), Haaland now gives the all-clear and says: “It looks good.

I'm training very well again.

I'll be back soon.” However, the Norwegian won't reveal exactly when he'll be back on the pitch for Borussia.

When Fjörtoft wants to know if he will return "sooner or later", Haaland simply says: "We'll see".

BVB: Doesn't Haaland miss a game despite injury?

With his statements, Haaland gives some hope for a comeback in the next game against Leverkusen.

Thanks to the international break, Borussia only have to play the Werkself on February 6th.

The Norwegian is also looking forward to his return: “Not being able to play is the worst feeling.

After all, that's my job.

If I could change something right now, I would like to stay injury-free.”
