Superhero: Two years to the death of Kobe Bryant
The creator of the sculpture is artist Dan Medina from West Hills, who said he brought the 72-pound bronze sculpture with him at 4 a.m. to the crash site in the hills above Calabasas.
Bryant and 13-year-old Gianna were among the nine killed when the helicopter crashed northwest of Los Angeles on the foggy morning of January 26, 2020.
