The Iranian national team qualified for the FIFA World Cup finals for the sixth time in its history, after beating its Iraqi counterpart with a goal to nothing in the seventh round of Asian qualifiers.
The goal of the Iranian national team was scored by Mahdi Taremi in the 48th minute of the match, which was held at Azadi Stadium in the Iranian capital, Tehran.
With this victory, the Iranian team scored 19 points at the top of the group, which also includes South Korea, the Emirates, Lebanon and Iraq, in addition to our national team.
