Maccabi Tel Aviv will be hosted this coming Saturday at the 11th Stadium and will meet MS Ashdod for a game in the 20th round of the Stock Exchange League.
Today (Thursday) coach Mladen Krastić spoke about the task that awaits him and his players in the port city.
"We were not happy with the result in the last game, we expected to win but it is football," said Krestic, "we had enough time to prepare for the next game where we would like to see a reaction and of course a positive result."
Towards what awaits Maccabi against Ashdod, he added: "I know and I heard that it was a very difficult opponent for us in the past. They play good football even today, I expect a difficult game but we did everything and still do to prepare for the game and show good ability on the field."
On the 11th stadium being considered one of the toughest pitches in the league he said: "We are not treating the pitch, we hope the pitch will be in good condition, I hope the atmosphere will be good, I expect a large number of our fans and that will help us to win"
On the staff situation, he said: "Yeni is out for a long time, he is not with the team yet. Saborit has started training with the team but he is still not qualified and will not be on the staff. All the other players are ready for the game."
