Russian world number two Daniil Medvedev reached the semi-finals of the Australian Open after defeating Canadian Felix Auger-Aliassim.
Medvedev managed to decide the outcome of the match in his favour, and beat his opponent, Eliasim, in three sets for two, 7/6, 7/5, 6/4, 6/7, and 3/6.
Medvedev will face Greek Stefanos Tsitsipas in the first round of his first Grand Slam tournament, who in turn defeated his Italian rival Yannick Sener.
