The players of the Stock Exchange League also mark this year the International Holocaust Remembrance Day that took place today, under the slogan #WeRemember.
International Holocaust Remembrance Day is celebrated every year on the day the Auschwitz extermination camp was liberated from the Nazis, and the Directorate of Football Leagues is mobilizing with the World Jewish Congress to raise awareness and preserve the memory of the Holocaust.
This year, as part of the project, the walls of Jerusalem, the Azrieli Towers, the Tel Aviv Municipality, the Foreign Ministry headquarters and other buildings throughout the country and around the world, including the Reichstag in Germany and the Austrian Parliament, were also illuminated.

As part of the campaign, the team players will upload photos to social media in which they are photographed with the slogan #WeRemember, in order to raise awareness of the fight against anti-Semitism and racism.
The groups will integrate the images into their social networks in order to flood the network with the memory of the Holocaust and make it a "leader", as has been done in previous years, with the aim of increasing the awareness of the younger generation connected to social networks.
Director Erez Kalfon: "Unfortunately, antisemitic events have shaken the world this year as well, and we can not resist.
"Our football players can play a big part in educating teenagers while using their power on social networks and together with the Stock Exchange League teams and the players we will do everything to remember and not forget!"
Ron Lauder, President of the World Jewish Congress: "Our goal is to preserve the memory of the Holocaust, especially as the number of first-rate survivors and witnesses continues to decline. By educating the world about the horrors of the Holocaust we are helping to ensure that it never repeats itself."
