The coach of our first Romanian national football team, Tita Valerio, confirmed that the responsibility for the loss in the match against the Emirates lies with the players and the technical staff.
Valerio added in the press conference held after the match, "I did not have a long and good preparation period, but I think that the UAE team took advantage of the slow defensive rebound and scored two goals in our goal, while our team acquired the ball, but we were unable to pass quickly or accurately in the last thirty metres."
"We have three matches left, and it is clear that our chance of qualifying has become very difficult because we do not have more than two points, and the next match against South Korea will be very difficult. I will talk to the players and try to raise their morale and restore their confidence in themselves in order to try to present a different image."
He said, "We have conceded 13 goals in the qualifiers so far and have not scored many goals. This is football and we have to invest in the upcoming matches in order to finish the qualifiers positively."
