Concurrent with the two games played tonight (Thursday through Friday), the NBA has officially announced the West and East top five for the glittering All-Star Game to be held Feb. 20 in Cleveland.
Unsurprisingly, LeBron James and Kevin Durant were chosen to be captains on both sides.
However, the injured Durant is still in doubt, and who could replace him is the Milwaukee champion star, Yannis Antocompo, who is already in the Eastern top five.
A surprising neighbor name that is there is that of Golden State forward, Andrew Wiggins who was selected to the West Five.
Wiggins gives a solid season and does not excel in particular and his choice alongside the rest of the stars is questionable.
The one who will be the first and actually justifies his choice - is Ja Morant, the big star of Memphis.
An expected disappointment is that of Luka Doncic, who was pushed out.
Three voting groups determined the starters:
• Fans (50%)
• NBA players (25%)
• Media panel 25%)
