In the 5:11 bankruptcy in Buchloe, the Peißenberg "Miners" presented themselves desolate over long stretches.
Coach Christian Kratzmeir has a clear requirement for his team before the two games at the weekend.
Peißenberg
– Only three of eight games were played last weekend at the start of the Bayernliga promotion round.
The second weekend is looking slightly better.
As of Thursday evening, the schedule provided for five matches (two on Friday, three on Sunday), because of the eight teams only TEV Miesbach and EA Schongau are taking a Corona break.
In Schongau it is still too early to return to play
Most of the players and officials affected by the “mammoths” have returned from domestic isolation.
However, the number of players and the preparation time were not sufficient for a return to play.
In accordance with the "return to play" plan, the team is now being gradually brought back to the stresses it is used to in ice hockey.
"We're assuming that we'll finally be able to play again next week and get into the championship round," said Schongau.
We want to show a different face now.

The Peißenberg "Miners" have already completed the return procedure with examinations and medical clearances.
Coach Christian Kratzmeir's men have been back in action since last Sunday, although the start of the round went awry with the 5:11 defeat in Buchloe.
"We want to show a different face now," said Kratzmeir and his squad before the home game this Friday against ERSC Amberg (8 p.m.) and for the guest game on Sunday in Grafing at EHC Klostersee (5:30 p.m.).
Kratzmeir expects simple and competitive ice hockey from his team
However, as far as fitness is concerned, the "Miners" are far from where they were at the beginning of the season after the Corona break.
"We have to bring the boys back up to speed so that we can chase the target and the opponent for 60 minutes," Kratzmeir sees a lot of catching up to do in the team.
At the same time, he expects his team to show simple and combative ice hockey.
"Crafts are not in demand at the moment," the "Miners" coach makes it clear.
The actors who can set playful highlights are currently becoming fewer.
About one like Tomas Rousek, from whom the Peißenberger parted this week.
The search for a replacement for the Czech striker has not been successful so far.

On the other hand, the “Miners” clinched two victories (1:0 after extra time, 5:4 after a penalty shoot-out) against the winner of the main round, Klostersee, which no other team was able to do this season.
"Nevertheless, the EHC is a big favorite, especially due to our current situation," said Kratzmeir.
