At the beginning of next week it could be time - a consequence of the bankruptcy application would be nine points deduction.

Türkgücü Munich would then be on the last place in the table, a relegation - then ten points behind the saving bank - would probably be unavoidable.

So why is it still waiting?

One possibility: Several Türkgücü players are said to have been offered a contract termination.

Once the application for insolvency proceedings has been made, the club is no longer allowed to negotiate with players.

All matters are then in the hands of the insolvency administrator.

The transfer window is still open until January 31, i.e. Monday.

Türkgücü could not close the liquidity gap through further departures, but could at least reduce it.

It is also possible that Hasan Kivran will step in as a rescuer at the last second.

Türkgücü coach Andreas Heraf on the threat of player distress sales.

Regarding the rumors that other players could leave the club, Heraf says: "That's logical too. When you read that we're in a situation like that, the lads' agents obviously want to get the best out of their players. But we cannot cope with further departures.”

According to reports, the players often only find out information from the media and are surprised themselves.
