The VfB Hallbergmoos footballers are meticulously preparing for the second half of the Bayernliga season.

However, Corona prevented an internal test match.

Hallbergmoos

– The VfB Hallbergmoos footballers have been preparing for the second half of the Bayernliga season for over two weeks.

The new coach Matthias Strohmaier has gained the first insights.

And the 27-year-old has a good feeling: "Everyone is fully involved.

We develop the spirit with which you can play football successfully.”

Coach Strohmaier: "Everyone is fully involved."

Coach Strohmaier often takes Mert Sahin with him on the way to training.

The offensive player, who switched to VfB from regional league team SV Wacker Burghausen, said it had been a long time since he had trained so hard.

Matthias Strohmaier sees this as a compliment - and passes the flowers on to the team, who are currently working very well.

Actually, the VfB team wanted to slowly approach 90-minute soccer games and organize an internal test match.

However, that was canceled because, despite a vaccinated squad, you had one or the other corona case.

As a consequence, the internal game was canceled – and the first VfB team uses five cabins for the training sessions to limit contacts.

In this way, the association wants to minimize the risk of group quarantine and corona infections.

Fabian Diranko is out for an indefinite period

All in all, preparations have been injury-free so far.

Only striker Fabian Diranko (pubic osteitis) is out for an indefinite period.

Player coach Matthias Strohmaier himself is making significant progress after tearing his Achilles tendon and is able to take part in more and more parts of the training.

Strohmaier is still cautious in view of the hard artificial turf and the frozen ground, but he wants to play a few minutes in test matches in the near future.

The first of five preparatory games is scheduled for tomorrow, Saturday, in Landshut.
