The downhill skiers will have their first medal decision next Sunday.
Here you can find out where the men's downhill can be seen on TV and live stream.
Munich/Beijing - Since the Olympic Games are being held in Asia for the third time in a row after Pyoengchang and Tokyo, German viewers have to be prepared for long and short nights.
Fans of the alpine disciplines will feel this on the first Sunday of the games.
So the downhill, the first medal decision of the men, is scheduled for 4:00 a.m. German time.
If you don't have any other plans for the weekend, you can definitely watch the race.
It is unclear whether an Olympic medal will also result for the German drivers.
None of the DSV athletes are among the permanent favorites, but a surprise is always possible.
However, who will make out gold hopes is the Swiss Marco Odermatt, who has been leading the World Cup so far.
Behind, the Norwegian Aleksander Aamodt Kilde should insist on his chance.

Driving is at the new National Alpine Ski Center Xiaohaituo, which is located north-west of the Chinese capital Beijing.
Since there is usually no snow on the mountains there, because there is hardly any precipitation despite the freezing cold, the Chinese help out with 200 snow cannons and snow lances from South Tyrol.
Nevertheless, the slopes make a good impression for Josef Ferstl: “If it snows here, something is wrong.
But the slopes are excellent, really cool.
Everything is in perfect condition," he explained to the

.
Colleague Romed Baumann, however, had a slightly different assessment.
The snow can hardly be compared with that from Europe, the dry snow is difficult to describe due to its own grain.
After all, the athletes have three training sessions before the competition early on Sunday morning to get used to the slopes and the unfamiliar conditions.
