Liverpool - Cardiff 1: 3
While Muhammad Salah and Sadio Mana are preparing for a duel in the final of the African Championship between Egypt and Senegal, their red teammates did not have a hard time against the rival from the championship on the way to the quarterfinals.
Although the host did not find the net until the break, the third flank in the attacking squad, Diego Jote, scored the first goal in the 53rd minute.
Five minutes later Jürgen Klopp brought to the pitch two players whose fans have been waiting in awe: Luis Diaz who has made his debut since arriving from Porto, and Harvey Elliott, who returned after an injury sidelined him for five months.
Takumi Minamino doubled in the 68th minute from Dias' cooking, Elliott completed the comeback to the pitches with a goal in the 76th minute.
Robin Colville shrank for the visitors in the 80th minute.
