Ice hockey: The Klosterseer series ends in the derby

First defeat of the season for EHC Klostersee in regular time.

In the top game of the promotion round of the Bavarian ice hockey league, the Grafingers lost to TEV Miesbach on Sunday with 1:2 goals (0:0, 0:1, 1:1).

Grafing - The almost 500 spectators experienced a varied, high-class and balanced match with a happy 2:1 victory for the guests in the end.

The award for captain Bernd Rische for 700 competitive games in the red and white jersey, which had already been postponed twice after the game was canceled and was planned before the game, fell flat again.

The record player was absent due to illness and wasn't even in the ice rink.

Christian Hummer took over the role of "Capitano" and Marinus Kritzenberger took his place in defense.

On the offensive, coach Dominik Quinlan had one more option with Gennaro Hördt, who was still missing in Schongau.

In addition, Julian Dengl was a U20 talent in the line-up.

The 18-year-old striker already had a few appearances in the first period, including alongside the two best EHC scorers Lynnden Pastachak and Raphael Kaefer.

At first, the Klosterseer came under pressure after an early penalty.

Philipp Hähl was often the focus.

The Grafinger keeper was able to clear the ball several times in dire need, including deflecting a flick to the crossbar from very close range (11').

By the end of the third, however, the EHC had drawn level after top-class chances.

Then TEV goalie Anian Geratsdorfer also had his share of the goalless tie.

Nothing changed on the game system on either side after the restart. Both the EHCl team and the guest acted from a disciplined defensive line. Ironically, in their own majority, the hosts sloppy in the construction. Miesbach's Czech playmaker Bohumil Slavicek in the save block, who, like Canadian Patrick Asselin, pulled the strings in the second row, used this to counterattack to make it 0:1 (28th). Hähl thwarted another 100% chance of scoring (36'). Opposite, TEV goalie Geratsdorfer prevented the Klostersee equalizer several times. Yannick Kischer failed after an ideal pass from Raphael Kaefer, as did Pastachak alone (32./37.).

The Grafingers increased the pressure after the last change.

The equalizer against the guests, who were now constricted deep in their zone, was in the air several times before Pastachak pushed in a rebound after a shot by Nicolai Quinlan (48th).

A minute and a half later they were back behind again after a counterattack.

In this situation, the EHC quarreled because of a foul that was not given, which had preceded the TEV advance.

Klostersee kept pushing, still had chances but not the necessary luck.
