Bitter news for FC Bayern.

The record champions have to do without Manuel Neuer for weeks.

Munich – Bad news for Bayern.

Goalkeeper Manuel Neuer will be out for several weeks due to knee surgery.

The record champion wrote on Twitter in the evening: “Manuel Neuer underwent successful surgery on his right knee joint on Sunday.

FC Bayern will therefore have to do without their captain in the coming weeks.” The captain was still on the pitch for 90 minutes in the 3-2 win against RB Leipzig.
