He was one of the most dominant factors in Wolfsburg's sensational win of the championship in 2009, when the team with graffiti on the edge became a threat to Bundesliga defenses.

After all, they mocked the Bosnian's many misses, calling him "blind" because his last name is very reminiscent of the Italian word.

Dzeko silenced them with a brilliant second season with 37 conquests in all settings and an equally good third season, especially in the European arena.

The comeback against Barcelona in the quarterfinals of the Champions League in 2018 is immediately recorded in gold letters in the club's history books, and will be remembered for generations.

Dzeko enabled him in the first place when he scored at the Camp Nou in a 4-1 loss in the first game, then opened the rematch at the Olimpico with an early goal.

He was the key man on the edge, sometimes unstoppable, and the fans learned to appreciate and love him, and also to better understand his game.
