Katrin Müller-Hohenstein: daring Olympic outfit causes amazement at home and abroad - "completely destroys me"

ZDF presenter Katrin Müller-Hohenstein's Olympic outfit caused a stir even abroad - and opinions differed greatly.

Mainz - Katrin Müller-Hohenstein is one of the absolute greats in sports reporting in Germany.

But now she not only scores with her expertise, but also with the choice of her outfit for many.

That even causes amazement abroad.

A Dutch woman - at least according to her own information on her profile - posted a ZDF screenshot on Twitter on Sunday and wrote in English: "If I were to present the Olympics, I would definitely want to wear this combination, these sneakers and everything."

And because the TV presenter is not as well known abroad as in Germany, the user explains who it is: "This is Katrin Müller-Hohenstein, who moderates for German ZDF."

The look is also popular with some Twitter commenters.

"Looks nice and warm" and "Great dress and great presenter," they write.

And Katrin Müller-Hohenstein even seems to have met one of them personally.

"It's one of the nicest people I've met, today's outfit suits her very well," writes the user.

The lilac-heavy combination does not meet every taste.
