Gavi rejects a first offer from Barça
According to the Catalan daily
Sport
, the contract extensions of defender Ronald Araujo and midfielder Gavi are FC Barcelona's priorities.
And for good reason: the two men will see their lease expire in 2023. Gavi, a Spanish international at just 17 years old, has already refused a first extension offer, reveals
Sport
.
If he and his entourage do not envisage a departure from Barça, they would like emoluments close to those perceived by Ansu Fati and Pedri.
The latter, both aged 19 and seen as the future of the club, recently extended with an annual salary of €6m.
On the Cadena SER
radio side
, we speak rather of a file "
on the right track
for an extension until 2027, even if Barça are walking on eggshells when it comes to their salary grid.
Gavi has played 26 matches (including 21 starts) out of a possible 32 with Barça this season.

Guion priority to train Bordeaux?
According to
L'Équipe
and
RMC Sport
, three names are at the top of the Girondins de Bordeaux shortlist to succeed Vladimir Petkovic, who was laid off on Monday.
They are David Guion, Laurent Batlles and João Sacramento.
The first, aged 54, is even the priority according to
RMC
.
His name was already circulating before Petkovic's appointment last summer.
Guion has been free since his experience in Reims (2017-2021), which he raised and maintained in Ligue 1. Batlles (46), he brilliantly launched his reconversion on the bench of Troyes, from which he was however sacked last December 30.
As for Sacramento (33), he worked in Lille with Gérard Lopez, now president of the Girondins, and was José Mourinho's assistant at Tottenham and AS Roma.
If he speaks French well, the CV of the Portuguese would remain a little thin.
