In office since April 1, 2019, Marlène Masure will leave her position as director of business development and partnerships for Paris 2024. A departure due to a "new professional opportunity", specifies the organizing committee of the Olympic and Paralympic Games .
In 2019, Marlène Masure had succeeded Frédéric Longuépée, then left for the Girondins de Bordeaux and was in particular in charge of the search for sponsors.
In its budget, Paris 2024 has provided an envelope of 1.1 billion euros from private partners.
While a tier 1 sponsor should be announced in the coming weeks, the organizing committee explains that it has already reached "two-thirds" of its forecasts.
“Two-thirds of revenue targets secured”
Marlène Masure will be replaced internally since the organizing committee has decided to entrust the missions to François Xavier Bonnaillie and Damien Rajot.
François Xavier Bonnaillie, who arrived in 2019, previously held the position of Director of Commercial Affairs and has therefore become Senior Director of Partnerships & Licensing in charge of signing, activating partnerships and licensing activities.
Damien Rajot, Director of On-Site Business Operations, becomes Senior Director of On-Site Business Operations and Viewer Experience.
In this capacity, he will also manage ticketing and hospitality activities.
In a press release, the management of the organizing committee "warmly thanks Marlène Masure for everything she has brought to Paris 2024".
“Under his leadership, the organizing committee has already secured two-thirds of the revenue targets from the partnerships and built momentum around licensed products, ticketing and hospitality, thus allowing us to calmly approach the next steps. of the project.
