Bad news for the Washington Wizards.
Team star Bradley Bill is expected to undergo surgery on his left wrist, and will therefore end the season earlier than expected.
Bill's agent, Mark Bernstein has confirmed that the player is suffering from a torn ligament in the area and therefore has no choice but to undergo the surgery, which means the Wizards will be left without their biggest star until the end of the season.
Bradley Bill made 40 appearances for the Washington uniform this season, averaging 23.2 points per game, while also averaging 6.6 assists and averaging 4.7 rebounds.
Bill was drafted in the summer of 2012 by the Wizards and has played on the team since then for nine seasons, this being the tenth season.

This injury could not have come to Wes Ansald Jr.'s team in a worse situation, as the team has lost eight of its last nine games.
In light of Bill's injury, other players will have to try to fill the void, as it is unclear how the forced change will affect the status of the complementary players, including Danny Abdia.
