Lewandowski (Bayern), eyes on Madrid
According to the Madrid daily
AS
, Real Madrid have thrown in the towel in a hot file of the summer transfer window: that of Erling Haaland.
The transfer of the Borussia Dortmund striker is deemed "
impossible
" because of the outbidding it will generate.
The Spanish newspaper does not even mention the Mbappé case, close to Real for months, but it goes without saying that the Merengues have not forgotten it.
Therefore, the recruitment of a center forward does not appear to be a priority.
But
AS
ensures, from a source close to Real, that the Robert Lewandowski option, which has not been considered in recent months, remains "
a possible plan B
".
Above all, we learn that the 33-year-old Pole thinks very strongly of Real, which was already the meaning of rumors at the end of last year.
That's why he still hasn't extended his contract at Bayern Munich, which expires in June 2023. The second in the 2021 Ballon d'Or ranking would like to keep all his chances of joining Madrid if the possibility arises.
Not sure, however, that the leader of Liga will go out of his way to attract him: his cohabitation with Karim Benzema (34), captain and leader of Real Madrid, would be complicated to say the least.

Bordeaux surveyed David Bettoni
The Girondins de Bordeaux are looking for a new coach after the dismissal of Vladimir Petkovic on Monday, the day after a slap received in Reims (5-0).
According to our colleagues from
L'Équipe
, Bordeaux sports director Admar Lopes made a phone call to David Bettoni, Zinédine Zidane's assistant during his two spells at Real Madrid (2016-2018 then 2019-2021).
Former player with a modest career and trained at AS Cannes, Bettoni (50) will take the plunge to become head coach.
Zidane himself would have deemed him '
ready
'.
But his lack of experience in this role would be the only "
reluctance
" of the Girondins, writes
L'Équipe
.
The names of David Guion and Laurent Batlles also circulated this week.
Bordeaux is 19th in Ligue 1 after 23 days.

Sadio Mané (Liverpool) to conquer Spain?
Champion of England, Europe and the world with Liverpool, has Sadio Mané toured the Reds?
According to the
Goal
site , this is how the Senegalese striker, who has just won the CAN, resonates.
He "
opens the door
" to his "
dream
as a child, namely playing in a big La Liga club.
Either Real Madrid or FC Barcelona.
Mane is reportedly yet to discuss a contract extension at Liverpool, with a lease expiring in June 2023, and therefore may never do so.
Is a departure for one of the two Spanish giants credible?
Real seems to be focused on other issues (see above), and if Mbappé comes, it's difficult to add Mané to a sector where Benzema and Vinicius already rule the roost.
Barça has invested a lot in attack this winter (Torres, Traoré, Aubameyang), in addition to relying on Ansu Fati (19).
But the recruitment of a center forward appears to be the priority need of the Catalans, whose financial room for maneuver remains limited.
And there is no doubt that Liverpool would not sell off Mané in the event of departure.
