PARISIAN INFO. The Petit Poucet of the Coupe de France will face Nice, third in L1, on Wednesday March 2. The match will be played without

FC Versailles (N2) will play its place in the final of the Coupe de France against Nice (L1) on Wednesday March 2 with a kick-off probably scheduled for 9 p.m.

The date imposed itself because Nice will travel to Strasbourg on Sunday February 27 on behalf of the 26th day of L1 before receiving PSG on Saturday March 5 during the 27th day.

The Niçois can therefore only play on Wednesday March 5 their semi-final of the Coupe de France against Petit Poucet des Yvelines.

The other semi-final between AS Monaco (L1) and the winner of Nantes (L1) - Bastia (L2) this Thursday will take place on Tuesday March 1 or Thursday March 3.

The day after their historic qualification for the semi-finals of the Old Lady after an epic match against Bergerac (1-1, 5-4 on pens), the Versailles people are already working on the enclosure which will host this event against the current third in Ligue 1. As its Montbauron stadium is obviously not approved, they must find a plan B. But unlike the round of 16 against Toulouse where the leaders of the Yvelines club had finally decided to reverse the match by playing on the banks of the Garonne at the Stadium, they want, this time, to play this semi-final in the Paris region in order to have a great party with their public.

The people of Versailles dream of the Parc des Princes

Only three stadiums in Île-de-France are likely to host a Coupe de France semi-final.

These are the Stade de France, the Parc des Princes and the Charléty stadium.

Amateur players dream of playing at the Parc des Princes.

Their leaders are therefore preparing to discuss with their Parisian counterparts the feasibility, particularly on a financial level, of playing this semi-final in this legendary venue.

But, PSG must also play 8 L1 games this season at the Parc and it is still in contention in the Champions League.

The women will already evolve there during their C1 quarter-final return against Bayern Munich on March 30.

If the Parc des Princes remains inaccessible for the Versaillese, the latter could then fall back on the Charléty stadium, home of Paris FC (L2).

FC Versailles could also request a derogation to play at the Jean Bouin stadium, stronghold of the rugby players of the Stade Français or at the Duvauchelle stadium in Créteil which has already hosted L2 matches.

The race against time has therefore begun.

Le Petit Poucet has until next week to offer a stadium to the French federation.
