The Winter Olympics in Beijing are firmly anchored in the ZDF program.
We show which moderators, commentators and experts the broadcaster is starting with.
Munich - The sports year really picks up speed in February, because one of the biggest events is coming up.
The Olympic Winter Games in Beijing are about precious metals, emotions and heroic stories.
109 competitions in 15 disciplines will be held from February 4th to 20th.
ZDF is there live.
The Mainz broadcaster shares the reporting with ARD.
On February 4th, 6th, 7th, 9th, 10th, 12th, 15th, 18th and 19th it's ZDF's turn.
In addition to 120 hours on TV, the broadcaster also promises around 500 hours of live streaming on six channels.
Due to the pandemic, reporting is controlled from the National Broadcast Center on Lerchenberg in Mainz, which is used jointly with ARD.
But which moderators, commentators and experts are in action?
Olympia 2022 on ZDF: ex-biathlete Dahlmeier as a regular guest in the studio
Katrin Müller-Hohenstein and Rudi Cerne will take turns presenting the show "sportstudio live - Olympia".
Experts are Marco Büchel in alpine skiing, Toni Innauer in ski jumping, Sven Fischer in biathlon and Benedikt Mayr in freestyle skiing.
In addition, former biathlete Laura Dahlmeier is a regular guest in the studio and gives her assessments.
Sven Voss receives interview guests on site.
Lena Kesting accompanies the competitions in alpine skiing, Norbert König in ski jumping and Alexander Ruda in biathlon.
Markus Harm is responsible for sports policy issues.

ZDF commentators at the Olympics: Wolff, von der Groeben and Co. with several tasks
ZDF distributes the commentator tasks as follows: Nils Kaben sits at the microphone at the opening ceremony, Christoph Hamm and Herbert Fritzenwenger are in action at the biathlon, Martin Wolff is responsible for the women's bobsleigh and Michael Kreutz for the men.
For curling, Heiko Klasen, Alexander von der Groeben and Wolff are a trio at the start.
The ice hockey team consists of four people: Norbert Galeske, Konstantin Klostermann, Marc Windgassen and Adrian von der Groeben.
Figure skating is in the hands of Petra Bindl, Hermann Valkyser will take care of speed skating, Windgassen and Andreas Kürten will take care of freestyle skis.
Peter Leissl accompanies the cross-country skiing competitions, Volker Grube can be heard at the Nordic combined, Galeske takes over tobogganing.
The voices of Kreutz and Alexander von der Groeben can be heard on the short track.
