Another decision is due on Thursday.
In cross-country skiing over ten kilometers, Katharina Hennig is the German hope.
The live ticker for the competition.
The third race at the Olympic Winter Games* is coming up for the German cross-country skiers.
On Thursday from 8:00 a.m. CET, the 10-kilometer freestyle race will take place in Zhangjiakou.
In the live ticker there is all the information about the competition in which the DSV* competes with four athletes.
Zhangjiakou - For sixteen years, the DSV cross-country skiers* have been waiting for an individual medal at the Olympic Winter Games*.
In 2006, Claudia Nystad got Siler in the sprint, since then the German cross-country team seems to have been cursed.
The probability that this long waiting time will end on Thursday is very low, but the German hopeful Katharina Hennig "dreams" of the podium in the ten-kilometer competition.

The 25-year-old is one of three athletes for Germany.
In addition to the Saxon national cross-country coach Peter Schlickenrieder, the two Thuringian athletes Katherine Sauerbrey and Antonia Fräbel and Laura Gimmler from Oberstdorf were also included in the squad.
The DSV runners don't count on a great chance of a podium due to the high level of competition.
"Three podiums are actually not enough to set a medal as your goal," says Hennig, who, despite her world-class format, is not one of the favorites for a medal.
"But that doesn't mean I don't dream about it," she added optimistically.

Hennig, the route was supposed to be in Zhangjiakou, on a similar trail in Kuusamo, Finland, she finished third at the World Cup at the end of November.
The race gave her "security", says the athlete from the WSC Erzgebirge Oberwiesenthal.
Nevertheless, she and her trainer look at the competition with a good portion of pragmatism, they would be satisfied with a top ten result.
The ten kilometers on the hard route and the free style also suit their preferences.
Especially when going uphill, she can now "take a nice step and not just hop up the mountains," says Hennig.
There is also a time start in the competition on Thursday.
