Huge drama in the Barcelona derby.
About a week after surprising the European football world with an amazing performance against Atletico Madrid (2: 4) Barcelona went out today for an away game against the city rival - Espanyol, who have not yet won in 2022.
The game opened perfectly for Xavi and his players when already after a minute and a quarter the Blaugrana took the lead, when Jordi Alba picked up a ball from the left wing and Pedry came from behind and kicked close inside.
In the 40th minute Espanyol equalized.
Sergei Dardar got the ball on the verge of an extension and kicked a spinning ball to the far corner and left Andre Ter Stegen a chance to stop the ball.
In the 64th minute, the turnaround came in stark contrast to the course of the game in which Barça dominated from the half-time break.
Raul de Thomas made an in-depth move, taking advantage of the fact that Eric Garcia froze and scored again in front of the visiting goalkeeper.
Just before the end it already looked like Barça were coming back to Sora with a painful loss, Luc de Jong who came in as a substitute just a few minutes earlier, went up for a touchdown as he knows how to do best and set up a great 2-2 draw.
