The Super Bowl is taking place today in the most expensive stadium in the world – the SoFi Stadium in Inglewood/Los Angeles.

It is estimated that the entire complex cost five billion US dollars, the stadium alone is said to have cost 2.4 billion US dollars.

It normally seats about 70,000 spectators.

Capacity will be expanded to 100,240 for the NFL Finals.

The opening ceremony of the 2028 Summer Olympics is to take place here, perhaps also the 2026 World Cup games. The last time there was the Super Bowl in Los Angeles was in 1993, including Michael Jackson's legendary appearance in the halftime show.
