While the Los Angeles Rams were celebrating the win on the field, their wide receiver headed to the hospital right after the Super Bowl.

For Van Jefferson, there's another reason to remember the evening of February 13 forever: Because the Los Angeles Rams wide receiver became a father for the second time.

The Los Angeles Rams won the Super Bowl 2022 by 11:20 on Sunday against the Cincinnati Bengals. For some of the NFL champions, however, the big emotional moments took place away from the victory celebration: Immediately after the final whistle, receiver Tyler Boyd proposed to his longtime girlfriend .

For wide receiver Van Jefferson, there was something more important after the game than celebrating the win with his team: he was rushing off the field and out of the stadium with his young daughter.

His destination: the hospital.

According to US media reports, his heavily pregnant wife had been brought there during the game.

She was in labor.

There had been reports during the game that Samaria, Jefferson's wife, had been carried out of the stadium on a stretcher.

NFL Network reporter Bridget Condon was the first to tweet: "I'm pretty sure I just saw Van Jefferson's wife leaving the stadium on a stretcher..." that I just saw Van Jefferson's wife leave the stadium on a stretcher..."

Her colleague Mike Garafolo confirmed the observation shortly thereafter: "That was indeed Van Jefferson's pregnant wife Samaria..." he wrote on Twitter.

In English: "That was actually Van Jefferson's pregnant wife Samaria...".

As a result, Samaria was heavily pregnant at the stadium to see her husband's game.

Immediately after the game, the wide receiver then grabbed his daughter and made his way to his wife, reportedly still in his playing clothes.

A little later he published a photo with his newborn baby in his arms.

However, the transmission gave German Super Bowl fans reason to complain: there were problems with the sound transmission during the halftime show.
