A fourth win in the last five meetings with Sampdoria has lifted AC Milan to the top of Serie A and put a lot of pressure on Inter, despite having a game in hand.

Rafael Lauo took advantage of goalkeeper Mike Manian's cooking to score as early as the 8th minute after a powerful and outstanding personal action that included overcoming a defensive player and a powerful kick to the net.

Olivier Giroud who is in excellent shape, missed some doubles situations, but AC Milan kept the lead until the end.
