The public voted in favor of the winger, who is ahead of England fly-half Marcus Smith. Victim of a sinus fracture, the Toulonnais will not face Scotland.


The winger of the XV of France won the Best Player of the 2nd day of the Six Nations Tournament for his performance in the 30-24 victory against Ireland, a week after becoming only the second Frenchman to score a hat-trick in the Tournament.

Gabin Villière beat Marcus Smith in the public vote with 35% of the vote against 33% for the England fly-half.

Behind Smith, we find another Frenchman, Grégory Alldritt.
