A month after the big farce at the Australian Championships during which he was expelled from the country, ranked first in the world and poured out his doctrine regarding vaccines, in an interview with the BBC.

"I have always supported the freedom to choose what to put in our body. But I have never opposed vaccines," the Serbian tennis player explained. "It is clear to me that my values ​​and the decisions I make about my body are more important than any degree in the round.

"I hope to continue playing tennis for many more years and still hope there will be no law ordering tennis players to get vaccinated in the future, anyway, I will always stand behind my decision. I try to be as attentive to my body as possible," he concluded.

It will be recalled that Djokovic landed in Melbourne in early January and claimed to have a medical exception in his hand even though he was not vaccinated against Corona, but immigration officials refused to bring him into the country and sent him to solitary confinement.

After winning the appeal he was deported from the country by decision of the Australian Immigration Minister, who revoked the Serb's visa, and his second appeal was rejected by the court.
