The saga of Kyrie Irving's participation in league games continues to occupy the NBA and the entire basketball world.
Remember, the Brooklyn star can only participate in the Hunts' away games because the laws in New York prohibit an unvaccinated player from participating in home games.
Today (Wednesday) and very surprisingly, Adam Silver, the NBA commissioner, commented on this matter and said he really does not understand the policy that prevents Irving from playing.
"It's strange to me that the law in New York only applies to home players who are not vaccinated to get on the floor. If the law is meant to protect those in the hall from the corona virus, why can unvaccinated foreign players play in New York?"
"It just does not quite make sense to me that an away player who is unvaccinated can play in Barclays but the home player can not."

However, Silver went on to clarify his position on the Corona Protocols in the world's best league: "I think people should get vaccinated, even in the third dose. Maybe the new mayor, Eric Adams, will change the order, which came in before he was elected to office."
