Israeli skier Baranbash Solush finished his performances today (Wednesday) at his successful Winter Olympics in Beijing, when he was ranked 22nd in the slalom competition, after his entry ranking was 49th.
The 23-year-old Solosh first jumped to the first round of the slalom, which he finished after 56.83 seconds and later, in the second round, he achieved a time of 51.88 seconds, which gave him a total time of 1: 48.71 minutes.
As mentioned, that was enough to give him the 23rd place, when the gold medal was won by the French Clement Noel with 1: 44.09 minutes.
Although the competition was held in clear weather, the challenging route led to a lesson that 42 of the 89 who started the competition did not finish it.
Solosh went through great Olympic games for him, after recording one of the greatest achievements in the history of Israel in the Winter Games, when he finished the combined competition on Friday (Down Hill and Slalom), finished the giant slalom track in 22nd place and twice in 30th place, also in the separate surfing competition On the slope and also in Super G.
The achievements in the Beijing Games will also give the Israeli surfer a high score in the world rankings, which will allow him to be in the top team in the World Cup round and continue to establish his place at the top of the world, ahead of the next Winter Games, in four years in Italy.
