The Syrian Automobile Club announced its calendar of activities for the current year, and it included many intensive events and championships, including the Universities Championship for the new electronic races on the club's championships calendar.
The opening ceremony of the club’s championships will be held in Damascus on the sixth of May, in a move intended to promote motor sports in general and the club’s championships in particular, within a large population.
The actual start of the club’s championships on the racing circuit in Sednaya in Damascus countryside will be on the second of June, where the first race of the Syrian Karting Championship will be held, followed by the next day the launch of the 16th edition of the Syrian Championship for speed racing, where the first speed race of the championship will be held along with the challenge race the first.
The month of June also includes intense races, where the second race of the Syrian Karting Championship will be held on the 16th of it, followed by the sixth version of the Syrian Drifting Championship through the first race, accompanied by the first challenge race on the same day, and on the twenty-fourth of next June the first race of the Syrian Championship for electronic racing will be held Which is being held for the second year in a row, and on the thirtieth of the same month, the third race of the Syrian Karting Championship will be held.
In the month of July, four races are held. On the first day of it, the second race of the Syrian championship for speed racing and the second challenge race, followed by the seventh race of the second race of the Syrian Championship for electronic racing. In the activities of the Citadel and Valley Festival in Homs Governorate.
The club’s activity calendar for the month of August included four sporting events: the fourth race of the Syrian karting championship, the second race of the Syrian drift racing championship, the challenge race, the fifth race of the Syrian karting championship, the third race of the Syrian championship for speed racing and the challenge race, and in September the sixth race of the Syrian karting championship is held Followed by the third race of the Syrian championship for drift racing and the challenge race.
The club's championships will conclude next October with three races within the Syrian Electronic Rally Championship.
