Hapoel Jerusalem will hold a salute game for the medical teams in Jerusalem in the upcoming home game against Hapoel Galil Elyon (Sunday, 21:00), on the two-year anniversary of the fight against the corona plague.
Thousands of employees of the Jerusalem District of Hadassah and Shaare Zedek, MDA, Ihud Hatzalah and Clalit and Maccabi HMOs were invited to the event. During the event, five annual subscriptions to the group games will be distributed to each organization, for the employees.
Hapoel Jerusalem's VP of marketing, Shani Cohen, said ahead of the event: "It feels like only yesterday we were at the arena for the last game before the league stopped, with 8,000 reds in the stands.
Two years have passed since then, and throughout this period those who have been at the forefront of the fight against the corona have been the dedicated medical teams - in hospitals, health funds and community clinics.
It is a privilege for us to dedicate this evening to them, and to cherish their work and work for the benefit of the entire Jerusalem public, as an integral part of the community work of the Hapoel family. "
