Karim Adeyemi's move from RB Salzburg to FC Bayern has probably failed.
There are very specific reasons for this.
Munich / Salzburg – On Wednesday there will be a German-Austrian cracker between RB Salzburg and FC Bayern* in the Champions League*.
A very special game for Karim Adeyemi.
The youngster, who caused a stir in the DFB team last year, has recently been repeatedly associated with a move to Munich.
But apparently nothing will come of it!
Ex-FCB President Uli Hoeneß explained why on Monday evening live on
ServusTV
.
Adeyemi is "a very good player", as Hoeneß explained.
However, you have to offer the 20-year-old as much playing time as possible so that he can develop - that's likely to fail on Säbener Straße.

That's why the Adeyemi deal won't work
"The problem is: If you get a player like that, you have to show him perspectives," says Hoeneß, to then immediately pass the cup on to BVB *: "It's easier for Dortmund." Adeyemi has also been with BVB for longer than Newcomer traded and could follow Erling Haaland should he leave the black and yellow.
The colleagues from

report on an Adeyemi deal*.
So there is simply no room for the record champions!
FC Bayern have "Coman, Sané, Gnabry and Musiala" on the offensive, as Hoeneß explains: "Then it's difficult to make it clear to him: You'll get a regular place." Adeyemi's contract in the city of Mozart runs until 2024, but there is no change of the native of Munich in the coming summer as a done deal.

In terms of sporting quality, Adeyemi did not fail.
But the competition on the Isar is apparently simply too great.
"Otherwise," says Hoeneß, "it would be a player you would have to deal with intensively."
Spicy: Serge Gnabry's contract expires in 2023 - so far the offensive star and the FCB bosses have not been able to agree on a contract extension.
BVB currently seems to have the edge in the race for Adeyemi.
After Niklas Süle, it would be the next spectacular transfer that Dortmund would make - and here too they would have outdone Bayern.
Süle also decided against the FCB offer and is now moving to BVB on a free transfer.
