Maccabi Tel Aviv landed today (Wednesday) in the Netherlands after a 5-hour charter flight ahead of tomorrow's game against PSV Eindhoven, for cloudy and rainy weather.
The team went to a hotel in the city and from there to Phillips Stadium where the press conference and concluding training were held in preparation for the first game of the knockout stage (Thursday, 19:45, Sports 3).
"PSV is a very good team with a strong squad, this is life in football - you can not choose a rival," said coach Mladen Krastic, "I expect our players to continue to play at the same pace as in recent games.
