Following the events of the State Cup final last night (Thursday), the professional committee of the Referees Association will convene early next week to discuss and analyze in depth the decisions of the refereeing team in last night's game (Thursday) between Bnei Herzliya and Hapoel Tel Aviv.
As you may recall, Hapoel Tel Aviv also received harsh complaints about the placement of the referees, especially Nir Myerson, who they claim has only had a few fatal whistles against them in recent years, and also about decisions during the game.
The union is aware that some mistakes were made during the game, but clarifies: "The refereeing decisions did not decide the outcome of the game. We will examine in depth what happened and make decisions."
