Marrow Teferi again this morning (Sunday) managed to break the Israeli record in the marathon, when he set 2:06:57 in Sevilla and shattered his previous result in 23 seconds.
The Israeli, who finished seventh in the race, broke the previous record he himself set two years ago in the same Sevilla marathon, then finished the competition with a time of 2:07:20
Girma said, who finished with a time of 2:07:34 hours, came in ninth place (6 seconds more than his personal best).
