The "NATAL RUNNING RACE" race of the NATAL Association, which provides psychological assistance to victims of trauma in the context of war and terrorism, will be held this year as part of the Tel Aviv Marathon, after being postponed due to weather conditions last November.
The race is characterized by its colorfulness due to the paint powders thrown at the runners, which symbolize the post-trauma and give color to that “transparent” mental injury that is not visible and many are not at all aware or even aware that they are dealing with it.
This year, there will be a 1.5 km endurance race where participants will run, including veterans, families of fighters and running groups "Runners with Remy" who will run for the association.
As part of the message "Running in shoes", the association created a meeting between Dean Mirshnikov, Imri Bitton and Olympic champion Peter Placzek for three post-trauma contestants: Uri Ehrenfeld, a prisoner captured from the Yom Kippur War, Yossi Cohen during his military service in 2000. Killed and seriously injured and Ehud Kakon who served as a combat medic in Givati and in 2004 was jumped to a terrorist infiltration incident at the Morag outpost, then had to treat the wounded and determine death at the scene, including a friend of his from the recruits.

The meeting was attended by three illustrators who, inspired by the meetings, illustrated the story of shoes donated by Adidas, and each of the three will run with them.
Imri Bitton will run in the shoes of Uri Ehrenfeld whom he knew due to his role in "Lock Hour" Peter Placzek was excited to hear from Ehud Kakon the moment he decided after 12 years to ask for help with the post-trauma and run for him this Friday and Dean Mirshnikov will run in Yossi Cohen's shoes. For the ambush he encountered as a soldier, for shooting himself at three terrorists, snatching a bullet in the chest and continuing to fight them.

As mentioned, on Friday, all six will meet again, so they will see for the first time the shoes that the illustrators, Sahar, Aviad and Jordan, inspired by the meetings, will run with.
It should be noted that all proceeds from the race will be dedicated to support and psychological assistance to trauma victims in the context of terrorism and war
