At the Erding Wrestling Show, it was properly dealt out again - a highlight: the rumble with 30 fighters.

– The start of the tour is done, and quite successfully.

In front of almost 300 highly motivated spectators, the EWS Erding Wrestling Show started the fighting year 2022 in front of a home audience.

While the first fans came to the Schollbach sports park an hour before the start, everything was set up: the ring in the middle of the tennis court, catering in the form of coffee and cake, as well as sausage and cheese rolls with drinks and the merchandise stand where the first wrestlers were already there to talk to the visitors, write autographs, take photos and even sell their own T-shirts.

And then the starting gong sounded.

Even though the microphone of ring announcer Bernhard Wulff (former commentator for WWE) went out for a short time, the fans were hot for wrestling.

The opening bout went straight for the EWS Tag Team Championship, the league's world teamfighting title.

Kevin Kaiden and Deadsaw went into the match after more than a year as champions.

This time, however, they were powerless against Alex Wonder and his entourage.

After several unseen outside interventions, Officer Nick and Officer Corey secured the title before being booed from the arena by fans.

There was ladys action in the second fight of the night.

Furious Avery from the Black Forest prevailed against La Catrina from Saarland and Violet Zante from Duisburg.

After the first break, another team fight ensued.

Don Sheen, who did not have to defend his world championship belt this time, teamed up with Hakeem Waqur against the new team "Shockwave", consisting of Tommy Golden and Max Diamond.

During the match, Ricky Sky intervened and also acknowledged the team.

In the end, there were multiple misunderstandings between Sheen and Waqur that resulted in Sheen being rolled over by his opponent and Shockwave winning the match.

After the ring gong, there was some heated argument between the champion and Hakeem Waqur before the "Arabian Superstar" attacked the local hero and gave the local boy a good beating.

He posed with the title over the beaten Sheen, and that should set the first match for the next show.

Then came the highlight of the show for many fans: the hardcore match.

Terrible Ted Jr. defeated Boris Pain to retain his Hardcore title.

This is a match without rules, which is why, among other things, a beer table was smashed or Boris Pain got a standard guitar pulled over his head.

The main fight of the evening was the so-called invasion rumble with a total of 30 fighters.

The goal of this fight is to send your opponents out over the top rope.

Two wrestlers start in the ring, adding one more fighter every 90 seconds until all 30 are in the fight.

The "Royal Rumble", known from the WWE in the USA, served as a model here.

The winner of the fight and thus the challenger for the EWS World Champion title at the end of the year is Georges Khoukaz: The two-meter-tall giant from Syria is not only a wrestler, but has also appeared in several series and movies.

The balance after the evening: two knocked out or broken teeth and a broken rib.

Otherwise, according to the EWS, apart from a few injuries, everyone is fit for the next show - on April 30th in Dachau.
