Alexander Zverev, second favorite for the title at the Acapulco Open, was expelled this Wednesday from the individual draw at the end of the first round match against Jenson Brooksby.
The organization has decided to suspend him for "unsportsmanlike conduct" after the episode he starred in the doubles tournament on Tuesday night.
He hit the referee's chair several times with the racket before the astonished look of his partner Marcelo Melo and between the whistles of the public who began to reproach him for the gesture.
Zverev, 24, sat down for a second and got up again to hit the judge's chair again and shout insults at him.

Zverev and Melo had just lost against the British Lloyd Glasspool and the Finn Harri Heliovaara (6-2, 4-6 and 10-6).

Hours after what happened, the Mexican Open confirmed through its social networks the decision of the ATP to disqualify Zverev also from the individual men's draw for his behavior.
"Due to unsportsmanlike conduct at the conclusion of his doubles match on Tuesday night, Alexander Zverev was suspended from the tournament in Acapulco."
In addition to this disqualification, Zverev also faces a serious financial fine.
