"And Zidane's header...!"
“Inevitably, when on the site of the French Federation which broadcast the match of the little Blues, we hear that, it brings back some memories.
They take us back almost 24 years.
The old ones are plunged back on a certain July 12 when Zinédine Zidane scored two goals with a header in the World Cup final against Brazil.

Except that in 2022, we are not at the Stade de France but on a more modest lawn, the Pierre-Pibarot field in Clairefontaine, place of training for the big Blues.
There is indeed a French team there but that of the under 17s, the generation born in 2005. And opposite, there is not Brazil but Denmark.
But the common point between the two games is called Zidane.
This time, we are talking about Elyaz Zidane, the youngest of the three sons of the 1998 Ballon d'Or. Born in Marseille in December 2005 and Real Madrid player exactly like dad, Zidane Jr honors this week, his fifth selection in the jersey blue.
He walks in the footsteps of his father, of course, but also of his three older brothers, Enzo, Théo and Luca.
Elyaz is indeed the fifth member of this extraordinary family to wear a France team jersey.
Against the Danes, to prepare for the Elite Round of the European U17 Championship, Elyaz Zidane played as a starter and the whole match.
The little Blues won 3-0 and the Madrid player who, to distinguish himself in the family, plays defender on the left side, scored the second goal.
We play the 57th minute, corner for France: Elyaz Zidane will place his long (1m94) carcass at the far post.
He wears the number 8 and in his step towards it, he really reminds someone.
Perfectly hit by Montpellier's Axel Gueguin, the ball landed on the head of the Madrid player who did not hesitate to score the second goal of his career in a jersey struck by the rooster.
He had already done so for his very first selection against Moldova last October.
As part of its preparation for the Elite round of the Euro 2022 qualifiers, the U17 national team is gathered this week at CNF Clairefontaine to face Denmark 🇩🇰

The other two goals for the Blues were scored by Rennais Désiré Doué (17th) and Stéphanois Ayman Aiki one minute after Zidane's (58th).
The France under-17 team still has an appointment this Friday at noon, always in the same place, facing the same Danes.
In March, the little Blues will head to Luxembourg to compete in the Elite Tour against England (March 23), Luxembourg (March 26) and Russia (March 29).
Elyaz Zidane will be there with the challenge of qualifying for the final phase of the Euro which will take place in Israel, from May 16 to June 1, 2022.
