He has temperament, playfulness and a lot of fun with football: At the age of 19, Noah Staudt has blossomed into an important player for SVA Palzing.

Palzing

– SVA Palzing doesn't have many players who can solve one-on-one situations on offense.

Noah Staudt can't always get past his opponents either, but he doesn't let that discourage him.

“Noah has quality – and he doesn't give a shit.

I like that,” says his coach Sepp Summerer.

When Staudt dribbles from the left into the sixteen and hooks inside, things get tricky for the opponents: With four goals in 13 appearances, the 19-year-old is one of the most prolific goalscorers in this district league season.

The fact that he has been tricking and scoring for SVA since last summer is thanks to an injury.

A torn muscle fiber thwarts Staudt's plans

Staudt played for SE Freising in his youth.

He wanted to take the next step in development by moving to the U19s at FC Ismaning.

"I got on extremely well and had an extreme high," says Staudt.

He would have thought he could make the leap from the Bayernliga U19s to the FCI first team – but a torn muscle fiber thwarted his plans.

He had to sit out longer than he would have liked.

Suddenly he lacked the arguments for a place in the squad of the FCI first team.

"I didn't have anything on the list," reports Staudt.

He considered a change.

(By the way: everything from the region is now also available in our regular Freising newsletter.)

His buddy Lucas Renner, whom Staudt describes as an "extremely good homie", plays for the Palzinger reserve.

Through Renner he knew what was happening at the SVA.

“Then Sepp Summerer called at some point.

I only live five minutes away – that was perfect,” says Staudt.

TSV Eching also played a role in his considerations, Matthew Atkinson, Maximilian Mayer and his buddy Philippe Göbel had switched there, three teammates from the Ismaninger A youth team.

Staudt chose the Ampertal.

And he prevailed there because he quickly made the switch from junior to men's division.

Staudt does not shy away from duels

Staudt is 1.73 meters tall, but he doesn't shy away from duels with taller opponents.

"I do calisthenics.

The basis for this is the body tension.

The tension is more important than strength,” says Staudt.

Physically he is ready, but he still has to make up a deficit compared to established district league kickers: "A big difference is experience.

Some of the opponents are real monsters.

Cheeky tricks against them are extremely difficult,” says Staudt.

The offensive swirler likes the challenge of measuring himself against older players.

And he's not afraid to mess with them.

In the home game against Feldmoching there was a pack formation after a missed penalty.

The Palzinger felt unfairly treated.

Staudt doesn't like that.

He defended himself and saw the yellow-red card.

That probably wouldn't have happened to an experienced player, his carefree nature was his undoing in this situation.

An exception, because very often he used his temperament profitably.

The SVA overwintered with the same number of points as TSV Eching at the bottom.

"However, that has absolutely no effect on my enjoyment of football," assures Staudt.

A good signal for Palzinger, who need his playfulness in the relegation battle.
