WWK Volleys Herrsching only need one point against Königs Wusterhausen to secure sixth place in the play-offs.

An important step in view of the quarterfinals.

Herrsching – Before the final intermediate round game, Max Hauser is almost deeply relaxed.

The coach of WWK Volleys Herrsching can do that too.

The Ammerseer were able to win four of the previous five games in the newly created intermediate round.

Finally, the Bundesliga volleyball team will welcome Netzhoppers Königs Wusterhausen on Sunday at 3 p.m.

The duel takes place in Munich's Audi Dome.

"It will definitely be an exciting game," says Hauser.

The balance sheet, but also the form curve speak clearly for the home side from Herrsching.

With 14 points, the self-proclaimed Geilste Club der Welt (GCDW) is in second place in the lower of the two groups of four, followed by the Netzhoppers with twelve points in third place.

This means that Herrschinger could even afford a 2:3 defeat to maintain sixth place overall for the play-offs.

Of course, you don't want to rely on such gimmicks at Ammersee.

Especially since the hosts don't want to annoy the new Munich home crowd.

WWK Volleys Herrsching: Only two players are seeded

Hauser is very satisfied with his players' eagerness to train: "I've really liked it over the last few weeks." Since all the players are fit and ready for action, nobody can sit back and relax.

The WWK Volleys coach says about his starting line-up: "I'm spoiled for choice." Except for setter Luke Herr and libero Ferdinand Tille, nobody can be sure whether he's playing or sitting on the substitutes' bench.

At the beginning of the intermediate round, Hauser also gave preference to the two outside attackers Tim Peter and Jordi Ramon, while Jori Mantha had to make do with a reserve role.

Then Peter weakened, suddenly the captain found himself on the bench.

On the diagonal, Hauser alternated between Jonas Kaminski and Philipp Schumann.

Most recently, Schumann, the newcomer from Haching, was convincing.

In the middle, Dorde Ilic and Luuc van der Ent are just ahead of Iven Ferch.

Play-offs: According to the current status, Herrsching would face UV Frankfurt

According to the current status, Herrschinger would meet third, United Volleys Frankfurt, in sixth place in the play-off series that begins on March 12th.

Unlike against league dominator Berlin Recycling Volleys, the power volleys Düren or the German record champions and cup winners VfB Friedrichshafen, the Herrschinger reckon they have a chance of reaching the semi-finals against Hessen.

The Sunday opponent of WWK Volleys thinks similarly.

The Brandenburgers currently have to compete against the second-placed players from Düren.

The power volleys only made people sit up and take notice on Wednesday when they defeated Berlin 3-1 in their volleyball temple.

For the intermediate round, Königs Wusterhausen has strengthened prominently.

Ex-national player Denis Kaliberda has not yet had a chance to play.

But other attackers set the accents: With Brandon Rattray (79 attack points) and Theo Timmermann (64), the Netzhoppers have two players in the top three in the league, Herrschings Tim Peter and Jodi Ramon rank seventh with 46 and 44 points respectively eight.
