FC St. Pauli put the competition under pressure in the fight for promotion to the 2nd Bundesliga and temporarily took the lead again.
Düsseldorf – One day before the duel between second-placed Werder Bremen and third-placed Hamburger SV, St. Pauli won 3-1 (2-1) at bottom FC Ingolstadt.
FC Schalke 04, which is also one of the promotion favorites, only drew 1-1 (1-1) at Karlsruher SC.
In the third game on Saturday, 1. FC Nürnberg reduced the deficit by 2:0 (1:0) at table 15.
Hansa Rostock the distance to the promotion zone to two points.
