Ligue 1: Lens overthrows Angers, Lorient surprises Brest

2022-02-27T16:23:38.316Z

Angers conceded a fifth defeat in a row this Sunday, when Lorient gave themselves some air. Bordeaux and Clermont shared a precious point.

A little respite for Lorient.

FCL offered themselves a breath of fresh air by winning on the lawn of neighboring Brest (0-1).

It was rookie Ibrahima Koné who struggled to score his second goal of the season and thus offer victory to Les Merlus, who took the opportunity to extricate themselves from the red zone.

Brest, which remained on two successes at home, is 12th in Ligue 1.

For its part, Angers continues to dive.

Yet in front of the score after a goal from Angelo Fulgini, the Angevins conceded a fifth defeat in a row after being overthrown by Lens (1-2).

The Sang et Or benefited from the clumsiness (or bad luck) of Petkovic, the local goalkeeper embarrassed by the sun and guilty of the two achievements of the visitors (73rd, 76th).

Lens temporarily climbs to 6th place while Angers drops to 14th place.

Bordeaux leaves (temporarily) the last place

The SCO is one point ahead of Clermont Foot 63, held in check by Bordeaux at home (1-1).

Appointed captain by new coach David Guion, Joshua Guilavogui opened the scoring with a header (13th) before Elbasan Rashani equalized with a fine volley from the right (32nd).

Bordeaux temporarily abandons its red lantern place in Troyes, which receives Marseille (5:05 p.m., to follow live with commentary on our site).

Finally, Metz and Nantes left with a goalless draw in the last match at 3 p.m.
