The professional committee of the referees' association dealt today (Monday) at noon with the controversial decision of referee Roy Reinschreiber in the Teddy game yesterday between Betar Jerusalem and Bnei Sakhnin (1: 1).
As you may recall, in the 38th minute, Ihab Ghanaim saved a shot from Ophir Krief from the line, but after a long VAR check, Reinschreiber decided not to award a penalty to the host due to a previous foul on Sakhnin's defensive player.

The union explained: "During the incident, the referee signaled a goal kick (resumption of the game).
"In light of the above, the screen referee recommended that the referee examine the entire incident and resume the game with a free kick in favor of Sakhnin's defense. After watching the incident, the referee fully adopted the recommendation and ruled accordingly."
