Leon Goretzka is working on his comeback in FC Bayern training.
But the national player has to take another setback.
Munich – Concerns about Leon Goretzka continue.
A few days ago, FC Bayern* still hoped that the midfielder would return soon.
Now Goretzka has to accept the next setback.
A comeback is becoming increasingly unlikely.
FC Bayern: Leon Goretzka suffers a setback in training
FC Bayern was overjoyed when Leon Goretzka was finally able to train with the ball again last Friday.
"He's moving faster again.
I'm happy for him, there are steps in the right direction," coach Julian Nagelsmann rejoiced at the matchday press conference.
However, the Bayern coach did not dare to make any predictions at the time of a comeback, saying he did not want to put pressure on Goretzka.
And these worries were probably not unjustified.
Already in the second training session with the ball on Monday, the injured knee started causing problems again, as the

reports.
Accordingly, Goretzka repeatedly touched his left knee and took longer breaks between the individual exercises.
After 45 minutes, the Bayern star sat on the ball, spoke to fitness trainer Simon Martinello for a few minutes and groped around the scolded joint.

Leon Goretzka: Knee worries continue - comeback plan at risk
Since the beginning of December, Goretzka has been out of action with stubborn patellar tendon problems.
The midfielder played his last game on December 4 in a 3-2 win in Dortmund when the ex-Schalke player gritted his teeth despite the pain.
Goretzka follows this action to this day.

After seven weeks of knee rehabilitation in rehab, Goretzka was finally allowed to train with the ball again on the training ground.
Bayern were hoping for a comeback in the hot phase of the season in spring at the latest.
At the beginning of April, after the international break, things will get serious with the possible quarter-finals of the Champions League.
Goretzka's return could be delayed even further.
On the other hand, there is good news for Manuel Neuer and Thomas Müller.
