Hapoel Hadera are expected to apply to the Supreme Court of the Football Association with an urgent request to disqualify the removal of goalkeeper Ruby Levkovich from the upcoming league game against Bnei Sakhnin.
Levkovich received a yellow card on Thursday in the game against Betar Jerusalem and was supposed to miss the cup game against Maccabi Haifa, which was held yesterday. Did not inform Hadera of expulsion.
Now that the mistake has been identified, Hadera has been notified of the goalkeeper's removal from the game against Sakhnin, which has become critical in the team's battle for a place in the top playoffs.
"No one can punish us for a mistake we did not make," they said in Hadera.
The Football Association confirmed that it was Liani's fault, but clarified that the dismissal would take effect in the upcoming game, forcing Hadera to go to court.
