Danny Abdia was injured tonight (Tuesday through Wednesday) in Washington's 113-116 victory over Detroit when his knee hit Jeremy Grant's knee during a basket penetration in the first quarter.
The Israeli tried to return to play in the second quarter but suffered pain and went down to the locker room.
In the second half, Abdia cycled on the exercise bike alongside the Wizards' bench, but did not return to play until the end of the game, which ended in Washington's first victory since returning from the All-Star retreat.
Deni Avdija (right quad contusion) is questionable to return to tonight's game.

During the game Washington updated that Abdia was injured in the main quadriceps muscle, but the severity of the injury was not reported.
A NBCS reporter Chase Hughes, who covers the Wizards, estimated on his Twitter account that the injury was not serious: "It looks like just a bad sabotage."
It sounds like just a bad bruise.

Abdia completed 9 minutes in a game in which he scored 2 points from the penalty line (0 from 2 from the field, 0 from 1 from three), and added four rebounds, two assists, a steal and a loss.
The Wizards' next game will be on Friday night against Atlanta, in a critical battle with a direct rival for a place in the play-offs.
Washington hopes that Abdia, who has not yet missed a game this season, will be fit for the important tackle.
Thomas Storensky was asked after this morning's training session about his acquaintance with the Wizards: "I played against many of them. We have size. Danny, Roy - I played against both of them and I can see their progress. I'm a basketball fan and I watched the Wizards. I liked the way the Wizards played From the beginning of the season. "
